Lake Tahoe’s Heavenly is promoting a “Screaming Spring Break Deal” offering five nights at Harvey’s, four days of skiing for just $63 per person per night. This may be as good as it gets this season at Heavenly.

Mt. High 6-Pack Not Available, So Go for the “Quad” Deal

The “6-Pack” deal at Southern California’s Mountain High near Los Angeles is no longer available this season, so go for “The Quad” deal. The package offers up to 40% off on night tickets, and more than 60% off on “8-hour spring tickets” (meaning unused night credits can be used for day skiing after March 30). Quad tickets are for four nights of skiing, for $75.

Save Big With 10 Tickets at California’s Mt. Baldy

Given the recent dump, this might the year to get a few days in at Southern California’s Mt. Baldy. A 10-ticket pass is $325, offering a significant savings off the $49-a-day regular adult price, $59 weekend (that is, just $325 vs. from $490 up to $590 for 10 days of skiing). Must purchase in advance.

Web-only Savings at the Sierra’s Kirkwood

Kirkwood, the Sierra Nevada destination that usually seems especially well buried in the deep stuff, offers decent discounts for advance online lift-ticket purchases. Two-day passes are $99, shaving $5 off the daily window ticket rate. Good anytime, holidays excepted.

Peak-Day Specials at Southern California’s Big Bear

Big Bear’s two ski areas, Bear Mountain and Snow Summit, offer two-day, peak-weekend lift specials valid at both mountains at a slight reduction compared to regular rates (for example, $119 for adults vs. $128 if both days bought separately). Checking snow and road conditions is a good idea before heading up from the L.A. basin, so here’s the link to both (scroll up for info on open runs).
